As part of our role shaping skills across the pan-sector, Instructus Skills recently attended the Erasmus+ seminar “Enhancing Digital Competencies in Education and Training”.
Larisa Puk, our Standards and Qualifications Coordinator, joined over 70 participants in Tallinn, Estonia from 4th-7th September to identify priorities for digital skills in education and training across Europe. The Estonian national agency Archimedes organised and hosted the event.
The Erasmus+ programme comprises of three different Key Actions (KA). This seminar was aimed at KA2: Cooperation for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices.
The seminar aimed to develop strategic partnerships in the area of ICT and digital skills, which it achieved by:
- Promoting dissemination of experience from the international skills arena
- Developing new approaches to skills consultations and development
- Generating transversal collaborations across sectors and organisations
The seminar activities included individual presentations, practical workshops and group discussions. The outcome will be a project to improve digital competency and employment across five countries – the UK, Republic of Ireland, Serbia, Germany and Latvia.
As we continue to develop digital skills with Erasmus+ we would love to include your feedback. If you work in digital and would like to take part in future consultations please email firstname.lastname@example.org to get started.
