Today (31st July) marks the formal withdrawal of the remaining English apprenticeship frameworks. Frameworks will continue to be certified for those learners already in training, however, from 1st August any new English apprenticeship starts must be on an apprenticeship Standard. You can find the full list of available Standards on the Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education (IfATE) website.
We will retain all framework documentation on our website to support existing apprentices, employers, and training providers.
It’s a strange feeling for our organisation today as we have lived and breathed frameworks for so long. However, we’ve planned for this day and have been able to prepare accordingly. We’re looking forward to continuing to support our customers through the management of apprenticeship Standards, and in particular with our delivery of End Point Assessment – which you can read about here.
Whilst apprenticeships are changing in England, we’re still helping to develop skills for the rest of the UK. Click here to join our current NOS review.
