NAA 2018: Is Your Apprentice Worthy?

Is your apprentice worthy of an award? With the National Apprenticeship Awards 2018 now open for entries, it’s time to find out…

Now in its 15th year, the awards are the largest and most prestigious celebration of apprentices and apprentice employers across the country. This year there are several new categories to demonstrate even more of the wide-ranging achievements of apprentices and apprentice employers, including:

Apprentice of the Year: Awarding apprentices who are working towards or have recently completed their apprenticeship.

Apprenticeship Champion of the Year: Open to individuals who go above and beyond to champion apprenticeships.

Rising Star of the Year Award: Recognising apprentices that have made impressive progress in their career to date and have the potential to go even further.

The National Apprenticeship Service, which organises the awards, recognises excellence in three areas:

  • Businesses that grow their own talent with apprenticeships
  • Apprentices who have made a significant contribution to their workplaces
  • Individuals who go above and beyond to champion apprenticeships

If you have an apprentice in mind for this year’s awards visit for details on how to apply. The deadline for nominations is the 25th May.
