Updated Apprenticeship Funding Rules Published

The Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) has published a new version of the Apprenticeship Funding Rules for 2020/2021.

With Version 4, the ESFA has updated the rules to reflect that, as of 25th February 2021, eligible apprentices can start their End Point Assessment before achieving their functional skills qualifications.

This applies where the apprentice has been waiting for the opportunity to access functional skills assessments but has been prevented from doing so due to COVID-19 restrictions.

You can find a summary of the changes on the GOV.UK Apprenticeship Funding Rules page.
